01

The Brief

A project developer needed to assess the technical and commercial viability of a proposed anaerobic digestion facility processing mixed organic waste, to support a funding application to a regional development body.

The client required an independent, investment-grade assessment covering process design, technology selection, and financial viability to determine whether the project should proceed to detailed engineering.

02

Our Approach

We conducted a comprehensive feasibility assessment including conceptual process design, comparative technology evaluation across two digester configurations, and detailed cost modelling with sensitivity analysis across three feedstock scenarios.

03

Solution Delivered

Conceptual process design including process flow diagrams, mass and energy balance, equipment sizing and specification, and technology comparison between two digester configurations. CAPEX and OPEX estimates with sensitivity analysis across three feedstock scenarios.
